John Fay briefly discussed his involvement in the new series of Torchwood during a live webchat on the Liverpool Daily Post website today.

The writer has penned Episode 9 of Miracle Day, and revealed that the majority of his episode “is set in Wales, and has already been shot”.

He also promised that the new 10-part story will have a similiar style to the previous three series.

“Russell and Julie remain in charge, so it’ll have the same basic tone,” he said. ”There are more American characters in it, so obviously it’ll probably feel more American.”
