Congratulations are in order for John Barrowman, who is to be honoured by the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama!

As BBC News reports, the actor (and singer and presenter and author…) will recieve a Doctor of Drama at the RSAMD graduation ceremony in Glasgow on 5th July.

John will be back on our screens as Captain Jack when Torchwood: Miracle Day premieres in the summer.
