It has been confirmed that David Tennant will be starring in a new one-man play next year.

The actor, who played the Tenth Doctor, will be taking to the stage to explore “his ancestral roots” in Sea Lavender by Andy Hinds.

The production will open on 9th May 2013 in Derry, as part of the city’s City of Culture 2013 celebrations. We’ll bring you more news about David’s involvement as and when.

David’s also been linked to a role alongside Rihanna in The Fast and the Furious 6.
