Karen Gillan’s been named as this year’s ‘Scottish Fashion Icon’ at the 2012 Scottish Fashion Awards!

Last night the actress was on hand to pick up her award at the ceremony, which took place in Glasgow at The Clyde Autitoriun. The event was hosted by Alexa Chung.

It is Scotland’s most high-profile celebration of fashion which sets out to recognise which Scottish designers have made a significant contribution to the industry.

After her win Karen took to Twitter to thank all that voted. She said: “You are the best”.

Congrats Karen! She’ll be back on our screens as Amy Pond in Doctor Who this autumn.
