Another new audiobook: it’s Sleepers in the Dust!
Amy and Rory may have left the TARDIS but there is plenty of Pond action to go round in the original audiobooks!
Next month marks the release of Sleepers in the Dust, by Darren Jones, in which the TARDIS journeys to Nadurniss, a world under quarantine. The exclusive story, read by Arthur Darvill, follows a joint Nadurni/human mission which has set out to survey the planet for possible re-colonisation. It has been 2 millennia since the Empire fell at the end of the War, but a mysterious illness is still infecting the Nadurni…
A shambling mound of bacteria, a Prokarian, has been on the planet all along, sleeping in the dust, and when they attack, Amy Pond is infected. The Doctor can do nothing to help her, until he realises that the main cure could lie more than 2,000 years in the past.
Sleepers in the Dust is released on 1st November 2012, RRP £9.25. It will be followed by the Ponds’ final audiobook story, Snake Bite by Scott Handcock, out on 6th December.
