John Barrowman has revealed that he is still waiting for his invitation to return for Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary.

The actor has previously admitted “it would be a shame” to be left out of the landmark year celebrations but has said that he hasn’t yet had that call. “I haven’t heard anything,” he told TV Choice. “There was a rumour online saying that I can’t do it due to my schedule. But I haven’t been asked, so it is nothing to do with that. To be honest with you – I have time. I would go back at the drop of a hat.”

John recently told WhovianNet he would like his Torchwood novel to be adapted for TV.
