Series 7: Part 2 premiere title, details, NEW poster!
The BBC has today released details about the Series 7: Part 2 premiere episode which airs at the end of this month.
As well as confirming its title as The Bells of St John, its tie in iconic poster has been unveiled for our viewing pleasure!
The photo features the Doctor and his new companion Clara on a motorbike (plenty more where that came from here) – and they are surrounded by shards of glass in which several of their upcoming foes are reflected…
In the opening episode written by Steven Moffat, the Doctor discovers something sinister lurking inside the wi-fi as he encounters the all-new and sinister ‘Spoonheads’ in London.
The showrunner teased: “It’s the 50th year of Doctor Who and look what is going on! We are up in the sky and under the sea, we’re running round the rings of an alien world and a haunted house. There’s new Cybermen, Ice Warriors and a never before attempted journey to the centre of the TARDIS. And in the finale the Doctor’s greatest secret will at last be revealed! So if this wasn’t already our most exciting year it would be anyway!”
Series 7 continues on BBC One from Saturday 30th March – watch the epic trailer here!

Spoonheads?……..Who knew, the Cardassians are going to cross over into Doctor Who.
No, that is just a joke. Despite my lack of confidence in the celebrations of the 50th Anniversary, I am looking forward to Doctor Who coming back, I always do.
The Ice Warriors look great; very faithful to the classic look.
I know some like the new Cybermen design, but I’m going to need quite a bit of time to get used to it. It’s sort of a cross between the Classic Cybermen and the Modern Cybermen and in that sense, they’ve taken a step back.
I don’t like all that piping, it just makes them look so primitive. I’m hoping there will be a story reason why they’ve reverted to an earlier form, especially since the Cybermen shown more recently have been Cybermen and not Cybusmen.
