Doctor Who is featured in a new seasonal advert celebrating BBC One’s Christmas highlights of years gone by.

The Doctor has been at the centrepiece of the channel’s yuletide festivities since 2005 with this month’s outing, Last Christmas, forming his tenth annual festive adventure, and the first to star Peter Capaldi as the titular Time Lord.

There are no new clips in the showreel (a 2014 preview is expected imminently) but there’s plenty of Doctor Who to go around with glimpses including the First Doctor, Rose and Astrid. Get nostalgic in the player below!
