Coinciding with the start of production on the sixth series of Doctor Who (and considering he doesn’t have enough on his plate already!), Steven Moffat has launched his very own official Twitter account!

The showrunner has already tweeted a couple of Time Lordy tidbits, including “Oh, he’s back behind the bow tie - and better than ever”, and hopefully we can look forward to more of his behind the scenes musings over the coming months as filming on the new series continues…

Don’t forget that you can also follow WhovianNet’s Twitter (@wnfeed) for all the latest news and site updates by clicking here (please excuse the shameless plug!).

    Because of this, I’ve finally joined Twitter, after months of not succumbing. I’m now trying to find all of the people I swore I wouldn’t get an account just to follow…

    @pirko Ah Bless and I thought you were mature enough to understand that not everybody is going to bow and scrap their knees before your RMeD and DT. Yep, I think SM is far more superior to RMeD as a writer, How many awards has RMeD won for writing a Doctor Who Episode – that would be NONE according to IMDB and how many has SM won – That would be 2 for “Blink” and 1 for “The Empty Child” and “The Doctor Dances”.. That’s 3 more than RMeD. Lets be generous and include the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Award which both RMeD and SM share. So that one cancels the other out.
    I think the awards speak for themselves!

    @ Steve

    Oh and I am fully aware that not everyone has to love the RTD years and everyones opinion is valid but , unlike u, I dont shoot people down if they dont happen to like the SM era and I certainly dont belittle people when they have a difference of opinion or resort to bully boy tactics to get my own way.

    @pirko Sorry, who was the first post on here?!!!!! You are the first to belittle anyone who disagrees with your opinion and you certainly do bully people!

    As for the joke that is the OBE for what TMeD has apparently, done, it is a disgrace! What,exactly has he done to remit an OBE? There are people out there who have done so much more for so little recognition!

    as much as i didnt like RTD its a bit unfair to just slam everythin he did, after all he is the 1 responsible for bringing DW back to our screens, but to say DT wasnt that good… shame on u…

    pirko, you are saying Steve is wrong for only liking Moffat, and Steve you’re saying that pirko is wrong for liking RTD and DT.
    Just agree that you like different Doctors and different writers. It’s not such a big deal. There have been 11 incarnations of the Doctor, and even more writers, so yes of course fans have different opinions.

    @The 13th Doctor
    Steve has every right to think DT wasn’t that good

    Honestly people, we all like Doctor Who one way or another, or we shouldn’t be on here. Let it go, or argue somewhere where everyone else doesn’t have to read it.
    :)
