Mark Sheppard to appear in Series 6 next year
It has been confirmed that Mark Sheppard will be appearing in Doctor Who next year.
The actor, whose television credits include The X-Files, 24 and Star Trek: Voyager, was forced to pull out of his scheduled appearance at the US Valleycon convention this weekend due to filming commitments for his role in Series 6. This suggests he will be guest-starring in Episodes 1 and 2, the two-part opener directed by Toby Haynes, which will be partly filmed in the Utah desert.
The story, written by Steven Moffat, will see the Doctor, Amy and Rory “on a secret summons” to the Oval Office, and will also mark the return of Alex Kingston as River.
We’ve got lots to look forward to – and you can keep up to date with it all right here!
And he was in peerless Battlestar Galactica!
