Fantastic first part and so much better than last week’s story. I was shocked to hear the “N” word in a children’s programme, but historical accuracy is important no matter who the target audience are.

It was different, I quite liked Sarah Jane’s story and the way they made Rani’s travel, Quite Brilliant! Sometimes I think they don’t give Rani good lines… but hey, its on Sarah Jane LOL

Well, I enjoyed the story. Some of the SJAs I find a little thin but I have to remember it is for children and on a children’s channel at a very early time. That said, what I think is interesting is that throughout this series there have been hints of a Rani/Clyde romance. These two are growing up and I have to wonder how much longer they can stay in the series? I wonder if the “Goodbye Sarah Jane” episode isn’t so much us saying goodbye to her, but rather Clyde and Rani? After all, Luke has been subtly written out of the series with only a few appearances via video phone… K9 has gone with him… and not to mention Maria… what’s to stop Clyde and Rani leaving? I also think it would help freshen the dynamic of the series, especially in giving Sarah Jane some more surrogate children to look after. For a woman who had no biological children she certainly has a large family now.
