Caroline Skinner has reassured fans that Series 7 will live up to expectations as there is an “explosive” first episode on the way to us in the autumn.

There is set to be one almighty bang to launch the series, as its opening episode – named this week as Asylum of the Daleks – will feature EVERY Dalek featured throughout the show’s history. Not only that, but it is foretold that they will be “worse than ever” – what will they be up to this time? We dread to think. Rather the Doctor than us, though!

“It’s an epic Dalek adventure that kicks off the new series in explosive style,” Caroline teased. “If you think you know all there is to know about the Daleks, then think again…”

The episode is screened at the BFI in London in August – tickets go on sale next month.
