Comic Con: Karen & Arthur “so pleased” with exit
Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have revealed they are “so pleased” with how their characters bow out of the series.
Speaking to IGN at Comic Con about their finale episodes, to air on BBC One in the autumn, Arthur explained: “We are so sad to be leaving, but we are also excited. We are just so pleased that the episodes are just so brilliant – we have five strong, big Amy and Rory episodes.” Karen agreed, adding: “I’m so glad that we are going through it together, as I don’t think I would be able to hold it together on my own!”
Karen also revealed that she’s in talks with new companion Jenna-Louise Coleman about playing pranks on Matt during filming! “I’ve been texting her and we have come up with a plot together to make Matt feel uneasy,” she teased. “And she’s been doing it on set…”
They remained tight-lipped when asked if there’s a chance they will make a return to the show in the future. “Anything’s possible with time travel,” Karen quips. Don’t we know it?
