Steven has anniversary script “under lock and key”
Steven Moffat’s revealed the script for Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary story is “under lock and key” to avoid any of its top secret details leaking out.
Talking at the press launch for the new series in London, he explained he’s going to great lengths to protect the contents of the long awaited episode, to be broadcast this November in 3D. “I make sure I don’t get a script, because I will l lose it,” he said. “So I forbid people to hand me one – it is on my computer under lock and key instead.”
Matt Smith was also at the event, telling BBC News the reveal of the Doctor’s “greatest secret” will form as part of the build up to the anniversary adventure. “That big secret,” the actor teased. “I read the special and clapped at the end. It is hilarious and vast and epic. It will be one of the biggest, best and boldest adventures the Doctor has ever been on and be one of the most momentous occasions in the show’s history. That’s the plan.”

Serious doubts about SM ability to produced a 50th Anniversary!

What if his secret is when he regenerates the other self goes somewhere else and lives on? Hence the older versions of his character are in some sort of Timelord after life? They could explain the aging!
John Barrowman has said on Twitter that he’s not going to be part of the 50th Anniversary today.
I have to be honest, I think I’m done with the 50th Anniversary now. It may be a massive story and provide revelations about who the Doctor is and everything, which will be good to watch, but it’s looking as though it’s just going to be an 11th Doctor fest.
Just the 11th Doctor and Clara. I know Moffat fans hate it when I say this, but it will be the ultimate expression of his ego to have his Doctor front and centre for the half-a-century celebrations with no other characters to overshadow him.
I’m very open to him proving me wrong though.
