Doctor Who fans have been invited to vote for their ultimate villain for an upcoming show on BBC Three.

As part of the 50th anniversary festivities the channel will be celebrating the Doctor’s greatest adversaries of all time, but first they need votes to determine the greatest of them all…

Their shortlist of contenders – including the Daleks and the Cybermen, has been finalised and voting is now open here. Which fearsome foe gets your vote?

The results will be revealed on BBC Three’s Monsters and Villains Weekend next month.

It is one of many programmes being aired across the BBC as part of their 50th build up.
