Classic Series fans will be happy to hear that the 1967 serial The Underwater Menace will be coming to DVD after all!

The original release of the Patrick Troughton adventure was cancelled at the start of the year due to financial difficulties, however the BBC has confirmed that the issues have now been resolved which means that it will finally be making its way to DVD on 26th October. The two existing episodes have been restored while the missing ones are represented using audio clips and surviving stills. Special features include commentaries and a reflective behind the scenes featurette.
