The names of three guest stars who will be appearing in the next series of Doctor Who have been announced today.
Filming on Peter Capaldi’s debut series as the Doctor began in January and it’s progressing rather steadily as production on the next block – consisting of Episodes 4 and 5 – started recently. As such, it’s been revealed that Robert Goodman will star in Ep 4 and Jonathan Bailey and Pippa Bennett-Warner will both have parts in Episode 5, but it is currently unknown who each of them will be playing.
The update follows an announcement that Samuel Anderson will be joining Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman in Series 8 as recurring companion Danny Pink. About his character, who works as a teacher alongside Clara at Coal Hill School, Samuel commented: “It is a quintessential part of British culture. I can’t believe I’m now part of it. It is an honour.”
