The Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular will be heading to the UK next year and a new trailer has been released to promote its arrival.
After critically acclaimed tours in Australia and New Zealand, the show will be taking to arenas across Britain in May 2015 to wow audiences with its celebration of the music and monsters of Doctor Who.
Presented by Fifth Doctor Peter Davison, tickets for all of the venues are now on sale here. Watch the trailer below.

Actress Michelle Gomez chats exclusively to the magazine about her starring role in the Series 8 finale and discusses the impact her character will have on the show’s mythology.

The final BARB rating for Dark Water has been revealed.
The episode, which formed the first half of the Series 8 finale, was aired on BBC One on Saturday 1st November and was watched by an official UK audience of 7.34 million.
The consolidated figure is much higher than the initial overnight of 5.27 million as it includes those who watched the episode within the first 7 days of its transmission. The closing moments of the episode featured a twist which sparked a huge amount of interest in the press.

Over 5 million people tuned in for the Doctor Who finale, Death in Heaven, on BBC One last night.
The climactic episode of Peter Capaldi’s debut series as the Twelfth Doctor was watched by an unofficial audience of 5.45 million, according to the overnight ratings.
Doctor Who was the 3rd most watched programme of the day with a 23.3% share of the total television audience. It was beaten to the top spot by Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor, which brought in 9.37 million and 7.9 million.

It was the final curtain call on Series 8 of Doctor Who earlier tonight but it sounds like we’ll be reunited with the Doctor a lot sooner than expected!
The BBC has announced that there will once again be a Doctor Who presence during this year’s Children in Need, continuing the show’s long association with the charity which in the past has come in the form of exclusive trailers and original mini-adventures.
The details of this year’s “treat” are still to be confirmed.
It’s likely that it will be linked to next month’s Christmas Special, the first trailer for which was debuted after Death in Heaven. Children in Need will return to BBC One next Friday.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost 3 months since the Twelfth Doctor made his official debut, in the feature-length Deep Breath which was also screened in cinemas.
Since then he’s taken us on an epic journey to the Moon and back, meeting new friends and enemies, and plenty of old ones, along the way. As always with Doctor Who, it feels like it’s over before it’s truly began…

Doctor Who is heavily featured in a new trailer showcasing the BBC dramas that are Made in Wales.
The series has been filmed in and around Cardiff since its return to our screens in 2005 and is currently based at Roath Lock studios in the city’s popular Bay area.
The new trailer features an array of clips from the latest series, which will reach it dramatic conclusion tomorrow night in Death in Heaven on BBC One at 8pm.
