12million expected to tune in tonight!

January 1st, 2010

end-of-time-presidentAccording to an article published by The Sun newspaper today, the BBC are expecting an audience of around 12million to tune in for David Tennant’s last ever Doctor Who outing tonight.

The concluding instalment of The End of Time will have its official debut at 6:40PM on BBC1/HD, and his long-awaited regeneration into the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) will undoubtedly be a ratings smash…

But we’ll have to wait until tomorrow (Saturday) morning to find out for sure, when the release of the initial overnight figures will reveal whether or not the historic feature-length episode lived up to, or maybe even exceeded, its estimate. Not long now everyone!
