Comic Con: “Something very special” is on its way!
“Something very special” will be revealed at the Doctor Who panel at Comic Con this weekend!
Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill will take part in a Q&A session with Steven Moffat and Caroline Skinner on Sunday, and during it some unseen Series 7 footage will be premiered.
According to BBC America, it’s “only the tip of the TARDIS” of what’s planned, so it’s a case of watch this space!

I hope I hope I hope… That this is an official announcement that Tom Baker is returning as the 4th Doctor for a 50th Anniversary episode. Fingers crossed and mouth grinning!
@Profzed
I hope he does return for the 50th. :-) That means that Eccelston is the only one who won’t be in it.
@Profzed
TBH, I don’t think we’ll hear anything about the 50th anniversary until we reach the end of the year when Jenna-Louise Coleman appears in the Christmas Special.
At the moment it feels way too early to announce such a thing, and currently the main event is Series Seven, with the return of the Daleks in the opening episode. So it’s more likely to be an extended or new trailer for the upcoming series.
@Charlie
I’m confused, why would that mean Chris Ecclestone would be the only one who won’t be returning? We know for a fact that he doesn’t want to be involved with Who again, but none of the other Doctors have been confirmed to appear either. For all we know it may only be one or two previous Doctors that return, so let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
I think it’s great that they will be there, but, since we know that the new companion has been cast & is shooting, why not have here there too?? Are they worried that she might say something about her episodes or about what’s coming up? Or the possible reaction she’s going to have from the fans?
As long as it isn’t anything we already know, have guessed about or about a returning character from the last two series and is actually what they say it is, IE: “Something very special”, then I look forward to seeing what they have to announce.
@Amalthea
I imagine it’s because they feel it will overshadow Karen and Arthur. This is their victory lap, the new girl doesn’t appear until Christmas, she can go next year.
I look forward to seeing this new trailer, I hope it will be something special.
