David, Billie to return for 50th anniversary special!
Big news: David Tennant and Billie Piper will be returning to Doctor Who for the 50th anniversary episode!
The rumours have been circulating for months but the BBC’s finally announced today the Tenth Doctor and Rose will be taking part in the blockbuster festivities when they join Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman in the 3D special which is to commemorate the show’s landmark year. It will be aired on BBC One and in cinemas this November with John Hurt also confirmed to be guest starring in it.
Written by Steven Moffat, it’ll be directed by Nick Hurran when filming begins next week.
