BARB release final ratings for The Vampires of Venice

BARB have today released the finalized viewing figures for Series 5 Episode 6, The Vampires of Venice, which reveal the story was watched by an official audience of 7.68million.

The figure is made up of 7.28million who watched on BBC One, and 0.40million, who tuned in on the HD channel. It makes Doctor Who the 12th most watched programme of the week, behind Britain’s Got Talent, episodes of EastEnders/Coronation Street and Lewis.

    I am always interested to see the numbers of WHO watched. I am in AUstralia so it would be interesting to see how many watched the show here on the ABC. Can you find out that?
    I am keen to know.

    Just a side comment to my previous posting. I have not seen the Vampires of Venice YET. We in Australia have just seen Flesh and Blood. Keen on numbers anyway.

    In Australia, the series premiered to an audience of 1.033million. Episode 2, The Beast Below, was watched by 851,000 viewers, 915,000 tuned in for Victory of the Daleks, 909,000 for The Time of Angels, and 967,000 for Flesh and Stone. Hope that helps!
