If you haven’t got your copy yet, Amazon are offering free delivery on “The Doctor and I” so you’ll pay only £8.99 and no postage and packaging.

I’m a little annoyed at that because I bought from the publisher and had to pay over £12 for the same book, lol.

Oh well, it’s a special book and worth the money.

Although I understand to a certain extent why you edited out the majority of my contribution, and I really am pleased to still be in it, I feel a little unhappy that my story now seems a bit awkward. The whole direction has been lost.. of course it was too long at first and – again – of course I may have been too explicit about certain aspects of the fandom. Furthermore Ix realise it would have been nearly impossible to discuss the options with every contributor, but I would have appreciated to be able to change my essay to the extent of maintaining my storyline but leaving out the somewhat negative parts. Don’t get me wrong. I love the book and have really enjoyed reading the contributions, especially looking at the variations in age of the contributors and the diversity in geographical backgrounds. I just would have liked my own story to have made some sense. Having stated all this, naturally I am pleased to being a part of this and I hope many copies are sold. And my apologies for having made a complaint because you of course did a wonderful job here!

I’m going to be very cheeky here and say that I had hoped they’d send a free copy to each of the contributors lol :) But I’ll definitely pick up a copy on my next pay day to read what other Whovians have contributed and this book will be something memorable to re-live my 50 years of Whodom :)

How does it stack up against ‘You And Who’?
