Overnight ratings have been released for last night’s broadcast of the Doctor Who edition of Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

The initial statistics show that an unofficial audience of 2.9million tuned in for the Time Lord themed special, which was hosted by David Tennant with team guests Catherine Tate and Bernard Cribbins.

With a 14% share of the total television audience, this is a much larger figure than the programme usually achieves. The episode is currently available to watch again via the BBC iPlayer service.
