Amy’s Choice, Confidential overnight ratings

Overnight ratings for Amy’s Choice and its accompanying instalment of Doctor Who Confidential, Arthurian Legend, have been released online.

Firstly, the episode itself won an unofficial audience of 6.2million, made up of 5.85million tuning in on BBC One, and an additional 0.34million watching simultaneously on the HD channel. With a 33.0% of the TV share, Doctor Who was yet again the second most watched programme of the day, behind Britain’s Got Talent on ITV1 (9.7million).

Meanwhile, 0.49million switched over to BBC3 afterwards to watch Confidential, and 0.07million watched when it aired an hour later on the HD channel. It was the 5th most watched programme of the day on multi-channel television.
